Freshman Campus Housing Move-Out Instruction for Women's Dorm, 2nd Semester, 2011 Acadamic Year
The current school year is going to end, and we want to remind you to apply for campus housing exchange if needed before the next school year is coming. Please follow the instructions below to apply for the new campus housing to the Campus Housing Service Section.

Please read the instructions below carefully for the registration and drawing system of the campus housing:
  1. Students should go to http://140.112.162.165/application_turn/index.asp to fill out the housing information form from 2012/05/25 9 am to 2012/06/01 12 pm.
  2. Each student has two options (choose one of the two options listed below):
    1. Choose roommates + choose regular dorm
    2. Choose roommates + choose the roommates with healthy schedule (healthy schedule means all of the residents in the room go to bed early).
3. Applicants should put the “name of the roommates chosen for new school year” and “two chosen dorms application” in the application form online. You may choose one from the options
of “Single-Bed Room,” “Double-Bed Room,” “Triple-Bed Room” and “Quadruple-Bed Room” online.
4. If you want to cancel the application, it has to be canceled by the main registrant. You may also re-log in before deadline at noon, June 1, 12pm.

Instruction to fill out the form
  • If the student had already pre-move to other dorm, for example: students from Political and Economy Department had moved to Boy’s Dorm No. 4 and Girl’s Dorm No. 4; students from Medical and Public Health Department had moved to Boy’s Dorm No. 2 and Girl’s Dorm No. 6; Please don’t log-in the system repeated, otherwise your application status becomes invalid.
  • Freshmen who are not living at Boy’s Dorm No. 1 and Girl’s Dorm No. 1, for example, student with ID number B00 who lives at Boy’s Dorm No. 6, doesn’t need to participate in the drawing this time. However, if you want, you may bring your student ID card to the Campus Housing Section to apply.
  • Special Notice
    • During applying period, the Section doesn’t provide the service of “Query for Number of Space Enrollment.” ‘
    • Short-term residents from Taipei, New Taipei and Keelung, please move out of the dorm by {Month, Day}. Don’t participate the drawing online.
Notes
(1) If the applicants don’t get the room type they want, they will be assigned to a bed space in a room individually and randomly.
For exampleIf the 4-bed room is no more available, 4 students will be assigned individually for drawing again to get an available bed for each.
(2) Students can fight for their self-living rights. If they don’t need a roommate, they still may apply online and fill out a dorm application form.
(3) Students who need a healthy schedule can apply online. Please note that since the number of beds for healthy schedule are varied, so there may be applicants who need a healthy schedule but being assigned to regular dorm room because of random drawing system.

Room type reference (number of beds are estimated, real number might be different depends on the drawing outcome)
Drawing outcome will be announced on Campus Housing Section webpage in {Year, month, day}.
Notes:Dorm rooms at Boy’s Dorm No.4, Girl’s Dorm No.4, Boy’s Dorm No.2, and Girl’s Dorm No.6 had been finished assigning for students from Political, Economy and Medical and Public Health Departments. Available rooms from Boy’s Dorm No.4, Girl’s Dorm No.4, and Boy’s Dorm No.2, and Girl’s Dorm No.6 mentioned above will be included for drawing this time.
  1. Drawing Outcome Announcement:2012/06/04 10 am.
  2. Exchange Drawing Lot Instruction:
    • Time to Exchange Drawing Lot: From Jun 4 10 am to Jun 6 5pm. Bring both applicants’ student ID cards to the Campus Housing Section to complete the exchange process. In order to maintain fairness of the drawing system, we don’t accept exchange after deadline.
    • Students who got regular dorms can’t exchange with those who got dorms with a healthy schedule.
    • Some students who did not get a space, please don’t worry. You will be notified an available space around September.
    • Drawing Lot Exchange Result will be posted on the Campus Housing webpage on 2012 Jun 6 5pm.
  3. Students who currently live in BOT can’t apply for housing transfer this time. If you want to transfer back to campus housing next semester, please enroll in the online computer drawing in 2012 Jun 4 to get a candidate number. Please note closely the update information on the Campus Housing website and your campus e-mail account to receive further information.
  4. Students with any further questions please contact the campus housing counseling staff, Ms. Lin, by e-mail (lyh99@ntu.edu.tw) or phone (02-33662264~6).
