Q1: How to apply for housing?
Q3: What do I need to know if I want to move in?
  • You should bring the required documents to your Resident Director’s office before the time according to the bulletin from Student Housing Service Division
  • Documents needed:Student’s ID Card,Passport,Photo X1,Paying Receipt ,and Housing Contract .
Q4: What do I need to know if I want to change my dormitory allocation?
  • You can change your room one month after the semester starts.Follow these steps:
  1. Find one people to change your room with.
  2. Both of you go to the Resident Director to sign your names.
  3. Go to Student Housing Service Division to process the procedure.
  4. Bring the certification form to the new dormitory to finish the procedure
Q5: What do I need to know if I want to check out ?
  • Steps:
  1. Clean up your room and take away all your belongings.
  2. Find your Resident Director to fill in the Check-Out Approval Paper and the Fee-Returning Form.
  3. Bring the Check-Out Approval Paper to the Student Housing Service Division to finish the procedure.
Q6: What kinds of behaviors are not allowed at the dormitories?
  • Transferring bed spaces to others, forcibly occupying bed spaces, or obstructing others from moving in.
  • Stealing, gambling, drinking alcohol, assaulting, or playing mahjong.
  • Storing dangerous or restricted goods.
  • Engaging in illegal acts using housing Internet or violating the regulations of academic Internet.
  • Keeping visitors overnight or allowing visitors entering the room without permission.
  • Introducing businessmen to the dormitory for trading goods.
  • Installing electrical appliances unapproved by the university.
  • Cooking inside rooms.
  • Keeping pets in the dormitory without permission.
  • Smoking in the territories of the dormitories.
  • Damaging public properties inside the dormitory, or disposing them without permission.
  • Violating rules stipulated by the dormitory.
  • Other behaviors in violation of public health, environmental peacefulness, or public safety.
  • Loud noises at inappropriate hours, such as after 11pm.
Q7: Accommodation information for guests.
  • Dormitories are only provided to NTU students.
