  • Title:Notice of Application for Undergrad Dormitory in Winter Semester 2014
  • Appear Date:2014-12-15

l   Applicable to: All undergrad students who are not live in the campus dormitory

n   Undergrad students who are currently live in BOT could join the ballots, if you get in and have to move out earlier from BOT, you will need to pay a month deposit as penalty of rebelling the contract.

l   Applied Requirements: the person himself/herself and parents need to have their household registry registered outside Taipei City, New Taipei City, and Keelung City for more than 2 years.

n   If your household registry is already updated but could not apply for the ballots, please call or email the Student Housing Service Division Ms. Feng, and also go to the Undergraduate Academic Affairs Division Office to apply for the change of your residence address.

n   While move-in registration, you would need to identify your household registry (included parents and yourself), if it is not fit the requirement it will automatically cancel the position.

l   Applied Time: From Monday, December 29, 2014 to January 5, 2015.9 AM to 5 PM. (over the deadline would not be accepted.)

n   We would put you in the front order if you are in those conditions in below. Please upload the relevant document in email, hand in personally, or registered send to Anhua Feng, Student Housing Service Division, No.1, Sec. 4, Roosevelt Road, Taipei, 10617, Taiwan (R.O.C.). (Due to the upcoming New Year holidays, please send it as soon as possible to avoid over the deadline.)

1.     Disability students (need to include a copy of Disability Manual)

2.     Islands and aboriginal students (need to include a copy of household registry)

3.     The first year foreign students or oversea students studying in NTU (require a copy of the residence permit)

4.     Low income (need to include the low income counties, the city government issued the certificate of households; the document need to have the name of the applicant), do not need the dormitory fees, but the deposit.

 

n   Mid low income can deduct three tenth of the dormitory fees, please attach with the identification and the relevant documents.

n   Extended students (ID: B99, Department of Veterinary Medicine: B98, Dentists Department: B97, Department of Medicine: B96, include the previous ones) can apply for dormitory, the order will be after normal students (during the normal study years). If due to double major, transfer, leave of absence or non-graduated, please attach your academic grades or other relevant identification to our division, your draw order will be between normal students and other extended students.

n   Students who leave of absence would like to apply for getting back to school in winter term of 2014, but could not register online since some uncompleted process, you could call or email to Dormitory Group, Ms. Feng, for applying registration.

l   Applied Resultant Posts: It will post at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 for the draw results on the Dormitory Service Group website. Depends on the current condition at the time, or the predicted move-in date will be on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, and goes in order. Students could check online on your own.

l   For students’ authority, please do not exchange the draw results with other people. The draw numbers are valid until June 18, 2015.

l   Students, who would like to apply for BOT, please go on http://ntudorm.prince.com.tw to register for the mid-term substitutions. For applicant who apply for both, since the deposits of the BOT Dormitory are not refundable, please decide to pay the deposit or not after the notice of the draw results from the campus dormitory on January 6, 2015.
