Riki / Visitation Regulation

Visitation Regulation(DOWNLOAD)
Amended and passed by the Student Assistance Commission, 2nd Semester of 2001.13th May 2002
Article 1
In order to maintain safety and peaceful environment for the boarding students, and to prevent theft activities, this regulation is pursuant to Article 30 of the National Taiwan University Dormitory Management Regulations.
Article 2
The implementation of the relevant provisions of this regulation is to be executed by the resident directors or by the dorm instructors on duty who supervise the dormitory work staff.
Article 3
Dormitory staff on duty should open and close the dormitory entrance according to the stipulated time.
Article 4
In terms of items brought in and out of the dormitory, the dormitory staff shall apply in accordance with the following provisions:
1. Pay attention to all individuals coming in and out of the dormitory (residential area). Inquire and deny the unauthorized access for outsiders that include: salespersons, individuals of the opposite sex, children.
2. If items brought in and out of the dormitory are in doubt, request for inspection and registration. Dangerous goods are strictly prohibited in thepremises.
Article 5
Vehicles entering and leaving the dormitory shall comply with the dormitory regulations.
Article 6
Student dormitory visitation regulation as follows:
1. Visitation hours: set by individual dormitory.
2. Information on visitation:
-All visitors shall meet with the boarding students at the reception room. They must complete the visitation procedures before entering the bedrooms.
-Guards or staff on duty shall receive the visitors with good manners and shall notify the students of the visitation.
-Unacceptable circumstances during visitation would enable the resident directors to request the visitors to leave the premises. These unacceptable circumstances may include, but not limited to: disorderly conduct, consumption of alcohol, troublemaking, solicitation of products, long stay and so on.
Article 7
Personnel entering the dormitory on official business shall notify the resident director, staff on duty, or organizers of the Dorm Student Association for authorized access.
Article 8
This regulation shall be promulgated and implemented once adopted by the Student Assistance Committee. All amendment shall be treated the same way.
